Bicycle Engine Kits – 2-stroke and 4-stroke.

Fosscati Motorised Bicycles are really involved in supplying fully built and customised motored bicycles that are reliable, beautiful and environmentally sustainable and that come with a warranty you can count on.  With the exception of the Rotary Bike Engine Kit we have ceased selling engine kits because of problems with the product and with the wholesalers.

PLEASE NOTE: Fosscati Motorised Bicycles no longer sell Grubee SkyHawk bicycle engine kits due, inter alia, to the failure of the Australian Grubee importer to supply essential spare parts needed by owners of  older models of engines and gearboxes.  Fosscati will, however, always service previous models of any Fosscati using specially imported spare parts from the USA.  A supplier that does not consider the ongoing needs of a customer with regard to the reasonable expectation that spare parts will be available for last year’s models does not deserve our custom.  If you wish to purchase a Grubee kit you will probably be better served by buying direct from the USA importer because they certainly provide much better follow-up services for spares.  With the dollars at parity it makes even more sense to buy from the USA and pay for air freight.  Why reward shonky service? – shop with discernment!

The indominatable Sachs motor and Rotary bike engine kit.

Precision engineered quality is clearly evident on the Rotary motor

Features

  • All aluminium alloy ‘monocase’, with precision machined matched halves
  • Industrial hard-chrome plated cylinder bore, which gives long-life & good abrasion resistance.
  • ‘Wet’ centrifugal clutch unit contained within the crankcase not just for compactness, but also to increase clutch life via dissipating heat to incoming air mixture & lubrication via oil within air/fuel mix.
  • Internal ‘ AUTOMATIC ‘ reduction transmission with over-running clutch unit, which means you can pedal the bike without the engine running with NO EXTRA RESISTANCE.
  • Many components designed to address the difficult problem of engine vibration being transmitted to the bicycle frame, eg.. muffler-torque rod & forward damper, wheel spokes have all been designed to reduce transfer of vibration to the frame.

I love your motorized bicycles. I am very much considering purchasing one of your motor kits. I would like to know if these bikes are hard to assemble yourself and do they last long on running.
I look forward to hearing from you.
    Thank You so much,

Hi Sylvia, Thanks for your message. It would be nearly impossible to build yourself a Fosscati unless you were both Giacomo Fosscati and had 45,000 kms of riding experience. That is what takes to build bikes like these.
They are incredibly reliable Sylvia and incredibly mood-lifting. Reliabilty comes first and looks come second.

    Hello,

I have a Lady Rotary bike in excellent condition, I’m trying to locate a Bing 81 carb for the bike and air filter. I’m in the US and I cant find anyone that sells this type of carb. I’m also looking for a new CDI for the bike as well, let me know if you have any leads.
